Your Mobile Phone May Be A Bar of Soap

In Ghana, two people were arrested by the police because they were selling mobile phones made of soap. 22-year-old Kwadwo Addei and 20-year-old Desmond Nkwah were the two suspects of doing this crime. The arrest was also part of a move by the country’s police so as to clean up their country of illegal mobile phone dealers.
So how does their modus operandi work?
According to some reports, if you were to purchase a mobile phone, Addei and Nkwah would show you a real mobile phone which comes with the complete stuff - charger, manuals, headsets, etc. - in its box. However, when it is time to pay, these wrongdoers would switch the real mobile phone with one that is has been fashioned from soap.
That’s very wrong, of course. Who would want to pay a huge sum for a piece of soap that looks like a mobile phone and comes with its own box, manual, set of accessories, and a user’s manual? It’s still soap.
