Will Apple produce an Ipod Phone?
Back at brighthand they have a strong reason to believe so.
According to Apple Insider, earlier this year, Apple registered with a European trademark and design office several possible new interface designs for its iPod line. One of these is unmistakably for a phone/iPod hybrid…..
In March of this year, it was revealed that people working for smartphone-maker BenQ have said that Apple is indeed putting together an iPhone.
Nowadays, the trend is more of gadget consolidation. Phone are becoming camera phones, PDAs have PDA phones, and some PDA has both camera and phone, while some phone models have camera and PDA features. Then they added walkman features, and recently video capture capabilities.
I have a strong feeling that if Ipod does not evolve into some form of a hybrid gadget, it will lose its market. Given a gadget that can do more for slightly higher price than an ipod, I would surely go for it instead of an ipod.
