There’s a new phone on Sony Ericsson’s line up of walkman handsets – the W830. Basically, an EDGE version of the Sony Ericsson W850 released last May, the W830 offers an array of multimedia features including a bright 2-inch QVGA 262K color display, a 2-megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom and LED flash, integrated FM radio and video recording and playback capability. The phone also offers push e-mail support plus USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.

There’s room for about 900 eAAC+ tracks within the W380’s 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo which comes with the phone as well as a stereo headset and USB cable. The Walkman Player 2.0 software also supports MP3, AAC, AAC+ and m4a audio file formats. The Sony Ericsson W380 will come in either Precious Black or Golden White. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
