Phones For Health: A US Project

The United States government is working up a partnership with most mobile phone operators in the country. And together, they are launching the program Phones for Health. As the name says, the program would be making full advantage of the capacities of mobile phones so as to help keep up health and battle illnesses.

However, this project is simply not going to be one small program. You see, it is projected to be having $10 million as its budget. Plus, the support would be coming not only from the US government and from mobile phone operators but there would also be support coming from manufacturers of mobile phones, technology companies, health departments, international health organizations, and other concerned groups and individuals.

This humanitarian project was formally launched to the public at the recently concluded 3GSM World Congress assembly. And with most people in the universe going to be part of the program, it could be said that the program could be quite successful.
