Nokia Launches Nokia E62 in India

While in the US, carriers are cutting prices for the Nokia E62, Nokia launched the E62 today in India making them the 2nd country in the world to offer the Nokia N62 Smartphone.

The selling price is about Rs 19,129. I bet many of India’s tech savvy executives will be tempted to buy this smartphone. A great gift for themselves for the coming New Year (2007).

The Nokia E62 is one of the finest smarphones nowadays for Business Mobility. Nokia E62 smartphone has been packed with quad-band support for GSM/ GPRS/ EDGE 850/ 900/1800/1900. The Nokia E62 smartphone boasts of enhanced security features like Remote Device Lock and device wipe, SSL 3.0/TSL 1.0, OMA DRM Forward-lock, and 3rd party add-ons like PointSec Data Protection and Symantec Firewall.

Nokia should be releasing this phone to more countries. If they released this to a couple of other markets, they could have gotten more sales and capitalize on the big holiday spendings this Christmas.
