Mobile Phone On Planes Now A No-No

It does look like we all would have to say goodbye to those days when we could use our mobile phones unnoticed in an airplane. This is after the Federal Communications Commission (or the FCC) has already given a big no to the impression of companies asking if passengers can be allowed to use their mobile phones when in flight.

Oopsie daisy. Now, no more mobile phones in the air.

Well, I guess, that decision of the FCC is fair enough. I mean, we all do know that there are rules already existing that all mobile phones should be turned off even before the aircraft leaves the ground. So there should be no exemptions to that.

However, not all passengers do follow such for most of them do not even know the reason behind such a rule. According to the FCC, that requirement for passengers is to actually allow a clear communication from the plane to its ground base. When a mobile phone is used inside an aircraft, there are huge chances that the mobile phone systems would interfere with the pilot’s communications with its base camp.
