HD DVD - Out Of…
Yes, its true. HD DVD is going out of business. Well, the term out of business is slightly over meant in this phrase, but it is true, HD DVD’s Toshiba announced the final days of the HD DVD. However, this can mean good and bad for all people, it just depends on who you are really.
Since HD DVD is not going to make DVDs anymore, its probably a good time right now to buy them, the prices are down, and they will never be down this much, until a little later this month, and maybe in the beginning of the next month.
The only thing that you have to keep in mind that sooner or later, you will have to buy a Blue Ray player, because HD Players will not play Blue Ray player. Unless you have a Blue Ray / HD Player, Dual, then its awesome for you because you will be saving tons of money of the HD DVD .
I know that Blue Ray is completely not worth it because its not as good as the HD DVD, but since HD is out, Blue Ray has to be the given choice. However, its not like I want to have 2 separate DVD players to play my high definition dvds.
So, what is the resolution to this problem? Buy cheap HD DVDs, & buy expensive Blue Ray DVDs to have both DVD players? Maybe buying a dual HD & Blue Ray player is what you want?
THe next time, we’ll talk about the solution to this problem next time here on Mobility Watch.
