Cell Phones Need To Be Thin If You Have To Carry Two
by
Some Mississippi state employees are fuming over the new state law that forbids them from making any personal calls on government-issued cell phones.
To comply, employees are either carrying two separate phones - or have opted not to carry a state phone at all. (Unfortunately, the law also forbids state employees from getting reimbursement for using their personal cell phone for work purposes.)
Cell phone costs for Mississippi were skyrocketing - $2 million for 5,000 state issued cell phones in 2004.
