Sharp Smartphone with Thumb Pads
Monday, July 10th, 2006
Sharp, a Japanese electronics maker has developed this new smartphone. It was designed to be a rival for blackberry which is to be launched in Japan.
Sharp said its new phone, called the W-ZERO3 would come equipped with a Microsoft operating system and 128 megabytes of flash memory. In addition to making calls, users can access the internet, read emails, and work on Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
The phone will be sold by mobile carrier Willcom Inc.
This looks like a nice design. A sliding thumb pad with a full qwerty keyboard. Great for composing emails instead of using the numeric keypad as a keyboard.
